A system and method for classifying paddy seeds into various varieties (Jehlum. Mushkibudji. Sr-1. Sr-2 and Sr-4) having minute differences in their morphological features. The system will assist the agriculturalists in growing desired kind of seedlings of paddy seeds of different varieties to increase their economy. The farmers can capture the photograph of paddy seeds they want to identify, transfer to the classifying system and get classified set of results at their ease without analyzing them in laboratories. Therefore, the system will encourage the people associated with the agricultural sector with effective productions, by identifying the seeds of their desired choice at the early stage of the agricultural process. By classifying the desired kind of seeds to be sown at the earliest, time and effort of agriculturists will be saved.
