Wind turbine tower is a supporting structure which supports the wind energy conversion system. Mostly HAWT have been used in onshore and offshore application. HAWT is commercially adopted whereas VAWT has not been used due to its large structure like in Darrius type. The height is the important criteria as theses VAWTs are installed in small scale generation and lower tower height in comparison with HAWT. Even the height of the Darrius is lesser but it is used for large scale generation. The purposed design increased the scope of VAWT for bulk generation and full utilization of tower. The turbine used is multiple blade savonious type which enclosed the permanent magnet generator and is directly driven by the wind. The current structure is used for small and medium scale generation which will be increased to large scale depending upon the pheasible height. The proposed wind tower namely Quad-Wind Tower is used for VAWT. In the tower the wind turbines are connected in all the four phases of the tower as the tower has four phases that is why it's called as Quad-Wind Tower.
