We have designed an instrument which will cater people during harsh winters by de-freezing the water pipes without bursting them out. It is reliable and cost efficient, non infrastructural and low power consumption device. A solar panel is also used to charge the battery & hence is energy efficient. The temperature of water pipes is sensed by temperature sensors Dallas & thermistor. The sensed temperature is fed to microcontroller. If temperature is less than set temperature microcontroller turns on heating element. The heating element housed on pipes will provide heat to the piping system & thus prevents them from freezing & bursting.
