The present disclosure relates to E-waste Management System from its global to national literature review and to present the J&K’s E-Waste scenario, an initial literature survey was conducted. This was followed by a basic-level practical survey into the local educational institutions, universities, hospitals, IT companies, financial institutions, municipal corporations across J&K state. A model was formulated for scientific management of e-Waste within J&K and implemented through an android as part of its software implementation The designed and developed android application was made to pick n drop e-Waste from every possible location across the state of J&K and its organized collection very easily. The android application so developed for easy picking up of e-Waste is divided into 03 modules – A module for client who can be any citizen of J&K state and wants to sell/ dispose-off eWaste, Second module of the application handles agents. An agent can be a verification agent whose job is to verify the end user’s data (e-waste), pick-up agent - any person who is responsible for pick-up of e-Waste from any client or it can be collection agent whose job is to collect the e-Waste from the pick-up agents and a third and final module is the administrator module. An administrator is a person whose job is to assign roles among various clients, assignment of different geographical regions amongst various pick-up agents, generation of weekly or monthly or annual reports with respect to various statistics of e-Waste for the purpose of making good use of this statistics in efficient management of e-Waste in future.
