The objectives of this project are to: 1. To Design and construct an experimental setup for portable dryer using solar energy. 2. To convert solar dryer into infrared dryer in night hours. 3. Wheel coupled Portable and light weight set up. Only one person can transport one place to another place. 4. Existing multiple exhaust fans can easily adopts desired conditions that can maintain the interior temperature of dryer that enables quality of food materials. 5. It is very suitable for low income group farmers of Union territory of J&K and coupled with the Unnat bharat mission of Government of India. 6. Customise the system as per demand of farmers and easily replicate units at low initial cost. 7.
