Carpet weavers in Kashmir are suffering from a variety of Musculoskeletal ailments as a result of poor working postures. Weavers sit in various bad positions because of the archaic nature of their looms. To alleviate these Musculoskeletal issues, an ergonomically constructed loom is created, taking into account the anthropometry of Kashmiri communities as well as some novel design improvements.
