The present disclosure discloses a technique for generating 3D framework of an object. The technique comprises receiving at least two two-dimensional (2D) images of the object; plotting at least two reference 2D points on both the 2D images; performing image registration process on both the 2D images using the at least two reference 2D points to generate a first and a second oriented 2D images such that the first oriented 2D image have YZ-plane, and the second oriented 2D image have XZ-plane; plotting a plurality of landmark 2D points on the YZ-plane and the XZ-plane provided on the first and the second oriented 2D images respectively, wherein the plurality of landmark 2D points are selected by a user based on type of the examination to be performed on the object; converting the plurality of landmark 2D points into corresponding landmark 3D points, and generating the 3D framework of the object based on the conversion performed.
