Method and device for authentication of a user. The method comprises detecting, by a first device, a fingerprint of a user, transmitting, to a second device, the detected fingerprint of the user, authenticating, by the second device, the user at least based on a comparison of received fingerprint with a plurality of fingerprints stored in the memory, and allowing access to the user if the user is authenticated.
