The present invention relates to a secure push-to-lock gate latch system designed for use in livestock fencing applications. The gate latch system features a non-rotating latching bolt, which is pushed behind a floating locking ring that moves upwards to allow the bolt to engage and locks the gate securely upon closure. The locking ring is supported by an H-shaped assembly of steel rods welded to a wall plate, ensuring stability and resistance to tampering. The latch components, including the latching bolt, locking ring, and assembly, are constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel for long-term durability in outdoor environments. The invention prevents accidental gate openings caused by livestock pressure, while allowing for easy manual operation by authorized personnel. This system offers an improved solution over traditional gate latches by providing enhanced security, durability, and ease of use.
